Polyamide (PA) Hot Melt Adhesives

Thanks to their particular molecular composition, polyamide-based hot melt adhesives guarantee extreme performance. In fact, within the family of hot melt adhesives, polyamide-based hot melts are the only ones that can withstand high temperatures, even exceeding 130/150°C.

Once applied, they ensure long-lasting holding over time and good moisture resistance without deforming due to heat; for this reason, they are used in all those sectors where special performance in terms of thermal resistance and bonding holding is required; such as automotive, aesthetics (manufacture of hair extensions), production of filters (both air filters and water and oil filters), production of insulating panels, repair of wooden shafts and components for construction.

The most advanced formulas of PA hot melts can withstand up to 180/185°C.

They therefore adhere perfectly to many difficult substrates such as metal, wood, polyethylene, polypropylene, and ABS.

Collagraf is among the very few companies worldwide to produce polyamide hot melts also in Ø 12 stick format, thus converting the use of such products to a very wide range of users who do not have the possibility to purchase expensive and bulky equipment (such as melters and boilers).
