Hot melt adhesives are increasingly being used in the automotive industry, where they are employed in various areas. Hot melt adhesives are used for assembling plastic components, especially for car interiors. They are also used for fixing (bonding) the interior upholstery of the car cabins.

Hot melt glues are also significantly used for bodywork repairs. Additionally, in the automotive industry, filter production (air, water, oil) is done using hot melt adhesives.
